The second event for School is Cool and so is Agriculture was held in Am-Am Elementary School located at Balili, Mankayan, Benguet. Like the first event, the focus was on giving awareness about the importance of Agriculture to the young students.
The program was made successful both by LEADS, and by the assistance of the teachers and the parents present. All the students, from Kinder to Grade 6, participated enthusiastically throughout the discussions and games.
A creative dance number was performed by the Grade 6 Students in their cowboy outfits to the tune of By the Rivers of Babylon. It was a very entertaining dance number!
Of course, the main man, Pandoy graced the event and charmed everyone with his dance moves!
As promised, LEADS Agri gave school materials including pencils, notebooks, papers, crayons, and erasers to all the students. LEADS Agri also gave every kid a pair of new slippers.
The event was officially closed by the Regional Manager, Sir Bryan Idnani and one of the faculty staff, Ma’am Magdalena. Both parties thanked each other. The Faculty Staff very sweetly sang a song of gratitude afterwards.
The group brings back to the office all the smiles they saw in the faces of all the participants—both serving as inspiration to each other.
