DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

For initiation of flowering in Pineapple:
Use 1 to 2 liters of Leadthrel plus 20 - 40 kgs. UREA in 1,000 to 2,000 liter of water per hectare. Use higher rate during hard to force months (May to December) and high volume sprays on very large plants. Apply to pineapple plants of adequate size and maturity; generally 6 to 8 months prior to harvest. Apply when foilage is dry.

For Pineapple Ripening:
Mix 1¼ to 2½ liters of Leadthrel with 1,000 liters of water to obtain complete spray coverage of 1 hectare. Ensure through spray coverage of plants and fruits one or two weeks before anticipated harvest. Use high rate during cool and cloudy weather conditions. DO NOT harvest fruit at least one week after application of Leadthrel.

For Ripening of Coffee Berries:
Test maturity of berries first. Pick green berries at random from bottom branches of several trees. From this sample, count 100 berries and cut into halves. Mature berries have hard seeds whereas immature berries have soft seeds. Repeat test after 7 to 10 days, if less than 90 of the berries are mature. Apply Leadthrel if there are 90 more mature berries.
Most green berries are found in the lower 2/3 of the tree. So direct spray to this part. Harvest at optimum ripeness which generally occurs between 14 and 30 days after application. DO NOT applyLeadthrel on trees under stress from drought or pests or if rain is expected within 4 to 6 hours.

For ripening of other fruits:
For use in uniform ripening of other fruits apply as post-harvest spray or dip. Mix 5mL of Leadthrel with 1 liter of water and apply as overall spray to fruits or immerse fruits into the solution. Mature fruits respond better and faster to Leadthrel ripening.
