The first team-building workshop, in the eight years of existence, of LEADS Agri was held last May 13-15, 2005 at the Cresta Monte Resort in San Pablo City. This activity, dubbed, “Team Resurgence 2005”, was organized with the aim of motivating and revitalizing both the people and the systems of the Company toward the delivery of new bottom lines en route to a clear set of directions.

A total of 47 employees, including those from the Visayas and Mindanao areas, participated in the two-day affair. The first day had activities aimed at discovering and aligning the “personhood” of each employee to his/her existence as a member of the team. The second day was composed of activities geared at the development of organizational synergy. This was achieved through structured learning exercises that brought out each employee’s natural behavior in group activities and subsequently, processing these behaviors to come out with team norms that could facilitate team synergy.

This workshop provided members of the LEADS Agri family to establish rapport and camaraderie among themselves. The activity also included games, videoke, billiards and fellowship. The activity was punctuated with the celebration of a thanksgiving mass in the chapel of the resort.

As a result of the positive feedback from the participants, the Management hopes to make this gathering of all employees an annual activity.
